How To Transfer Calls Seamlessly with RingDNA

Use RingDNA to hand off calls smoothly with warm or cold transfers. Whether you’re introducing the rep or transferring directly, ensure a seamless experience for both teammates and customers.

  1. Start a call in RingDNA to access the call transfer options.

  2. Once on the call, click Transfer to begin handing it off to another teammate. This can be done either as a warm transfer with an introduction or a cold transfer without one.

  3. Open the contact selector to add a new contact for merging the call.

  4. Click Transfer and Leave to complete a cold transfer and hand off the conversation immediately.

  5. For a warm transfer, click Transfer again to begin the process with an introduction.

  6. Type the teammate’s name, then click Warm Transfer. This connects you with them first, allowing for alignment before bringing the caller in.

  7. When ready, click Hold in the upper right corner to pause your conversation with the recipient.

  8. Select Merge Call to bring the caller back and complete the warm transfer.

  9. Click Conference to connect all parties, then click Leave to exit the call while keeping the other participants connected.
