How to Customize Your RingDNA Greeting
To add a custom greeting in RingDNA, open Settings → Custom Greeting, create and label a recording, preview it, and save it. The interactive tour above and original video below show the workflow.
Create and manage a greeting
- Open Settings in the RingDNA Dialer and choose Custom Greeting.
- Review existing greetings before creating another recording. Use a clear label so teammates can identify its purpose.
- Select Create New Greeting and record your message. State your name, team, and the next step the caller should take.
- Preview the audio. Check pronunciation, volume, background noise, and any time-sensitive information.
- Save the greeting and choose the appropriate greeting or availability option offered in your configuration. Verify its behavior before relying on it for callers.
Out-of-office and campaign greetings
The tour shows an out-of-office greeting identified by an open-door icon. Keep return dates and contact instructions current. For a campaign message, use wording that matches the offer and avoid promising a response time your team cannot meet. Available options and interface labels may differ by configuration; a saved greeting should not be assumed to activate automatically for every workflow.

If the greeting does not behave as expected
Confirm you saved the recording, selected the intended greeting, and tested the availability state you configured. If Custom Greeting is unavailable, ask your administrator to check your access and setup rather than creating a second greeting in another location.
